Pour approximately eight to ten centimetres of the clumping clay litter into a clean and completely dry litter tray. Check the tray daily and use a perforated litter scoop to remove solid waste and hardened urine clumps. Dispose of the soiled litter responsibly with your regular household waste and never flush it down the toilet. Top up the tray with fresh litter as needed to maintain the recommended depth. Every month or after forty days of use, empty the entire contents of the tray into a waste bag, clean the tray thoroughly with warm water and a mild pet safe disinfectant, dry completely, and refill with fresh litter.
