How To Use
Thoroughly clean and dry the base of your vivarium or terrarium before introducing the new substrate. Pour the coarse beech chips into the enclosure, distributing them to create an even layer approximately two to five centimetres deep, depending on your pet's size and species requirements. Spot clean the bedding daily by removing any soiled patches, droppings, or wet areas, and top up with fresh chips as required. Perform a complete substrate change every four to six weeks, or sooner if necessary, to maintain a completely fresh and hygienic environment. Note: This substrate is not recommended for high-humidity rainforest setups, as prolonged soaking can cause wood chips to spoil.
