How To Use

Screw the compact lamp directly into a heat resistant ceramic E27 Edison Screw lamp holder or reflector dome fitting. These bulbs feature integrated electronics, meaning they require no external ballast and can run safely on regular mains power. Position the lamp horizontally or vertically over the designated basking spot, ensuring it sits at the recommended safe distance from your pet to prevent overexposure or ocular discomfort. Because standard glass and plastic block 100 percent of ultraviolet rays, ensure the light shines directly into the environment without obstruction. Turn the lamp off at night to maintain a natural day and night cycle, and replace the bulb every nine to twelve months, as the invisible UVB output naturally declines over time even if the visible light remains bright.
