How To Use

Thoroughly clean and dry the base of your vivarium or terrarium before introducing the new substrate. Spread the loose forest terrain evenly across the floor of the enclosure, filling it to a minimum depth of at least 5cm to allow for proper coverage. If you are using an under tank heat mat, always refer to the manufacturer instructions regarding critical substrate depth to avoid dangerous heat buildup. For tropical or humid habitats, mist the bark chips regularly with a spray bottle or mix in fresh water, taking care to avoid waterlogging the base. Perform a daily spot clean to remove soiled pieces or waste, and completely replace the substrate every two to three weeks to keep the environment immaculate and hygienic.
