Diurnal reptiles are naturally stimulated by crisp daylight and focused thermal warmth which drive their metabolism, encourage active movement, and support essential daily behaviors. This premium daylight bulb is manufactured using specialized glass infused with a rare earth element known as neodymium, giving the casing a unique blue hue that elevates the standard of vivarium illumination.

When the lamp is active, the integrated neodymium coating works by filtering out the dull yellow light waves typically produced by standard incandescent bulbs. How To Use

Screw the neodymium spot bulb securely into a heat resistant ceramic E27 Edison Screw lamp holder or a deep reflector dome fixture. Because basking spot lamps generate exceptionally high surface temperatures, always mount the fixture completely out of reach of your animals or protect it behind a sturdy wire mesh heat guard cage to eliminate the risk of accidental thermal burns. Position the light directly over your habitats designated basking site to establish a clear temperature gradient. For maximum safety and automated climate management, connect the power line to an appropriate dimming thermostat to govern the temperature safely. Turn the lamp off at night to preserve a natural dark cycle, and always allow the bulb to cool down completely before handling.
