Feeding Guide and How To Use
Daily Serving: Feeding requirements vary significantly based on your puppy's exact age in weeks. For young puppies aged 7 to 10 weeks, feed approximately 8% to 10% of their current body weight daily. Gradually decrease the%age as they grow, moving to 7% to 8% at 10 to 16 weeks, 6% to 7% at 16 to 20 weeks, and 5% to 6% at 20 to 24 weeks.
Serving Strategy: For younger puppies up to 16 weeks old, divide the daily food allowance across 4 separate meals. From 17 to 24 weeks, reduce the frequency to 3 meals a day. At approximately 24 weeks, puppies can be safely transitioned onto ProDog adult raw food ranges across 2 daily meals.
Handling and Thawing: Defrost the tub within the refrigerator overnight (approximately 10 to 12 hours) before serving. Never cook, boil, or microwave this product, as heat destroys the beneficial live enzymes, degrades the delicate omega oils, and alters the structure of the ground bone into a brittle format.
Storage Advice: Keep frozen until ready to use. Once fully defrosted, store the tub in the refrigerator and use within 4 days. Do not refreeze the product once it has thawed.
