Life Stage: Formulated for adult dogs and puppies from 24 weeks onwards. Especially ideal for dogs with severe food sensitivities to common land proteins like chicken or beef.
Feeding Guide and How To Use
Daily Serving: As a general guide, feed approximately 2% to 3% of your adult dog's ideal body weight per day, preferably split across two daily meals. Adjust the exact amount based on your dog's activity level, age, metabolic rate, and physical condition. Fish mince works wonderfully when fed a few times a week as a protein rotator.
Serving Strategy: Serve straight from thawed. Simply open the pack and portion the firm mince directly into your dog's bowl. If smaller serving amounts are required, allow the block to soften slightly at room temperature just enough to segment, then return the unused portion immediately to the freezer.
Handling and Thawing: Store at 18°C and keep frozen until ready to use. Defrost the pack inside the refrigerator overnight (approximately 10 to 12 hours) before serving. Never boil, cook, or microwave this product, as heat destroys delicate fatty acids and causes ground fish bone fragments to alter uncomfortably.
Storage Advice: Once fully defrosted, store the fish mince in a sealed container in the refrigerator and use within 2 days to ensure maximum freshness. Do not refreeze the product once it has thawed.
Safe Handling: This is a raw fish product and should be handled with standard hygiene rules. Wash hands, bowls, utensils, and all preparation surfaces thoroughly with warm, soapy water after serving. Always make fresh, clean drinking water available daily.
