Pour approximately 2.5cm or 1 inch of Tiny Friends Farm Bathing Sand directly into a high sided tray, sturdy ceramic dish, or a specialized bathing box inside your pets habitat. Allow your chinchillas access to their sand bath every single day to keep their dense fur pristine. For hamsters, gerbils, and degus, offer the sand container two or three times a week as a special wellness activity. To prevent their skin from becoming dry, limit each individual bathing session to between 10 and 20 minutes at a time. Always use your spot cleaning tools to remove any soiled sand immediately after use, and completely refresh the tray with brand new sand at least once a week to maintain top tier habitat hygiene.
