We are recruiting for a sales assistant for our pet superstore in Derby.

The role for Pet Shop Sales Assistant is between 26-36.5 hours per week and is a permanent position. Previous retail experience is required, and previous pet retail experience is preferred. Full training will be given. Hours will be Monday to Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm with Wednesday off and a 4 weekly Saturday/Sunday rota, with 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays off per month.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be a key member of the Trusty Pet Supplies Team.

The Role:

• Provide the best customer service and advice to pet owners.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well stocked at all times.
• Assist with checking off and putting away deliveries, ensuring stock rotation is completed.
• General day to day and housekeeping retail tasks.
